Meet Our Charlottesville Dental Team
Shannon

Shannon is a graduate of the Community College of Rhode Island who’s been in dental care since 2015. Shannon says her team members make working easier because everyone has the same quality of care and set of ethics. Shannon is caring, a helper, loyal, relatable, and empathetic. She’s originally from New England but moved to the area with her husband for his job at the University of Virginia. Outside of work, Shannon enjoys reading, doing artsy things, gardening, being with family and friends, and working on her hobby farm.
Danielle
Financial Coordinator
Danielle is our financial coordinator, and is the first smiling face that you’ll see when you walk into our office. She’s been working in the dental industry since 2015, beginning in pediatric dentistry and moving on to general dentistry, so she is well versed in all the procedures, processes, and services that you and your family members may need through all the various stages of life. She loves the way that the team works together, and how appreciative Dr. Kayton is to his staff.
Outside of work, Danielle enjoys shopping, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her friends and family, including her sweet pup, Piper, her fiancé and their daughter.
Heather
Scheduling Coordinator
Heather had been working in our office part-time for several years before joining us as a full-time team member in January of 2022. She’s a graduate of Piedmont Community College’s Dental Assisting program and has been working in the dental industry for about 15 years. She loves helping people achieve and keep a beautiful smile, and loves the fun, uplifting atmosphere of our office. Outside of work, Heather coaches her children’s softball and baseball teams. They also love to go for hikes, fishing, camping, and kayaking.

Louise
RDA - Dental Assistant
Meet Louise, our dental dynamo, boasting over three decades of experience. She’s been a fantastic addition to our team for the past two months, bringing a treasure trove of dental wisdom along with her. Louise’s journey began at the esteemed Rochester Dental Assisting School in New York, where she sharpened her dental skills. Louise firmly believes that a dental visit should be as breezy as a walk in the park, and she has a knack for putting patients at ease.
Outside of her work, Louise is a loving mother of two and the proud grandmother of six grandchildren. When she isn’t offering her wisdom and skills at work, she enjoys decorating, taking walks, going on hikes, and reading. Louise is equally devoted to her community, generously volunteering at her local church. Her dedication to family and community and ensuring top-notch dental experiences make her a vital part of our dynamic team.
